«The font failed harder than the data»
A client came with a typical request:
3 PDF electricity receipts.
We had a reference file and the exact inputs: amounts, dates, transactions.
At first glance it’s simple – replicate the layout and export.
But one detail popped up.
▪ The client noticed:
our version “looked” like a different font than the original.
The reference had visible serif details, while the output seemed smoother.
For verification systems this can be critical:
they don’t check just the text – they also check document typography.
We verified the file using multiple tools:
Acrobat and a font analyzer showed that both the source and the final PDF use the same font.
The issue was rendering and display, not the file itself.
After the final check the client received 3 correct PDFs – matching the reference.
Sometimes KYC breaks not on data, but on details.
▸ If your document must look exactly like the original – it’s better to validate everything before sending. Message us – we’ll review the file before submission.
All case data is shared with the client’s consent.
