THE BARCODE TESTIFIED AGAINST THE FRONT SIDE

The PDF417 barcode on the back of a US DL holds the entire document: name, address, dates, restrictions, numbers. A scanner reads it faster than a human can look at the plastic.

⚖️ Restrictions on the front not matching the barcode – rejection before the file even opens. The data must match byte for byte.

Inside sit the inventory number, DD, dates. All generated by the specific state's algorithm. A pretty random guess won't survive the validator.

Error correction, column count, density – read programmatically in seconds. One wrong cell buries the whole package.

We generate the barcode to AAMVA standard and cross-check it against the front before delivery.
