Metadata – the invisible biography of a file
Sometimes a document looks perfect.
But the verification still ends with a rejection.
The reason may lie not in the image itself, but inside the file.
▪ EXIF and XMP
These blocks store information about the origin of the file:
device, software, and editing history.
▪ Date conflicts
A file may be “created” today but “captured” a year ago.
Such inconsistencies quickly trigger antifraud checks.
▪ Device and software logic
Every camera and every application leaves its own digital signature.
When those traces don’t match – the system detects manipulation.
So sometimes a file fails not because of the picture,
but because of what is hidden inside it.
▸ If your document must pass verification without unnecessary questions – it is better to analyze the file beforehand.
