WHAT THE EYE SEES VS WHAT THE ALGORITHM READS

Most people still judge a job by “looks fine to me — should pass”. And then act surprised when the submit gets rejected.

The eye catches the overall impression: does the person look similar, is the text readable, does the image feel okay. Algorithms don’t care about any of that. They’re not looking for “nice” or “not nice”. They’re looking for inconsistencies.

Noise in one area differs from noise in another — trace.
Sharpness on the face is one thing, on the background another — trace.
Edges of an insert are slightly off in frequency — trace.
Light seems present, but contact shadows are missing or wrong — another trace.

That’s why plenty of works look decent when you open the file and still fail checks consistently. Visually fine, in reality full of holes.

The main mistake is finishing the document to the point of “I like it” instead of “there’s nothing for the machine to catch on”.
